New Partners Program Simplifies, Incentivizes Donor Recognition

Central Virginia Battlefields Trust is excited to introduce a new, simplified alternative to our current donor recognition structure! 

​

As of February 1, 2019, we no longer refer to you as a “Member” or offer membership categories. We feel that the term “Partner” more effectively illustrates your integral role in our battlefield preservation mission. “Active Partner” status will be granted following any donation made to CVBT and will extend for one year from the date of gift. As long as you donate at least once a year, you will always remain an Active Partner of CVBT. Our valued Life Members will automatically receive Active Partner status in perpetuity.

Additionally, we are excited to roll out our new CVBT Partner’s Program — a tiered rewards program that provides incentives based on annual contribution. For each tier reached, additional benefits are unlocked, all in an effort to show our Partners just how much they are appreciated! 

​

In particular, we want to recognize those exceptional individuals who rise through the ranks to receive a general’s appointment. Those Partners whose giving level exceeds $1,000 will be welcomed into the CVBT Generals, an exclusive group of leaders in supporting our mission to preserve the land where Civil War soldiers fell. As a CVBT General, you will enjoy special recognition and exclusive invitations to private events, including a tour and reception at our 2020 Annual Conference.

All donations made after February 1, 2019, will qualify for this incentive program, with each subsequent gift graduating you to a higher tier with its additional incentives. We will close the books on the first year of this program on March 31, 2020, so that recognitions can be given at the 2020 Annual Conference to each donor for their generosity, based on their accomplished final tier level. From there, the program will reset annually, and feature new and exciting incentives each year.
